31.Jan.11 LCDP takes a leap forward at Lee Valley
10 coaches came together for a jumps development day at Lee Valley Athletics Centre on Saturday 22nd January. The day focussed on two specific events the Long Jump and Pole vault, and was part of the Local Coach Development Programme.

There is to be a Coach and Athlete endurance development day in Sevenoaks on 26th February - this is part of the Area and Local Coach Development Programme and supported by the Kent Athletics Network.

31.Jan.11 Derbyshire Athletics Network strike Sponsorship deal with Toyota
The Derbyshire Athletics Network has managed to secure a new sponsorship deal with Toyota, specifically Inchcape Toyota Derby. For every car sold the Derbyshire Athletics Network will receive a rebate of between two and three percent – this will be between £400-500 per car sold!

Doncaster Athletics Club have been presented their Clubmark Certification. The presentation was made by local Club and Coach Support Officer Adam Brown.
