25.Apr.12 Ivanhoe Robins Junior Athletics Club mark 100 days to go
The rain held off and the Robins opened up their doors on Saturday 21st April to give their local community the chance to try some athletics. The club made full use of the weather and had activities taking place both inside and out to give people the chance to try lots of different events.

24.Apr.12 School and Clubs compete side by side at Oasis Academy in Croydon
South London Harriers in conjunction with the South London Athletics Network hosted an enjoyable Quadkids competition at Oasis Academy School in the borough of Croydon on Saturday April 21st. The 93 athletes were rewarded for their enthusiasm with a dry if at times overcast day. It was wonderful to see athletes come from a wide range of local primary schools.

24.Apr.12 North Yorkshire Under 15 Boys win National Sportshall Final
After attending trials between October and January organised by the North Yorkshire Athletics Network to be part of the North Yorkshire team, the Under 15 boys went on to win the regional finals and secured their place in the UK Sportshall finals held on Saturday at the NEC.

On April 21st The Bees Academy held a special event for the Academy’s Mini Bees, aged between 5 – 8 years old, at the Norman Park Athletics Track, Hayes Lane, Bromley to mark the "100 Days To Go" until the start of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

24.Apr.12 RUN! & Sportshall Lead The Way At The Copper Box!
The ‘Copper Box’ (Olympic Handball Arena) was the venue for the One Movement Event. The multi sports festival was put together via a working partnership from six host London boroughs, East London Business Alliance (ELBA) and the London Legacy Development Corporation. 24.Apr.12 North West networks take a Journey to Success
Over 100 coaches and athletes attended the first ever North West Athletics Network Conference held at Sportcity on Sunday 25th March 2012. Delegates were able to attend workshops with top coaches and treated to keynote speaker Katharine Merry.
