  • 28.Oct.09 Midland Counties AA indoor competitions announced

    Midland Counties AA have announced their indoor season events for 2010.  The MCAA Indoor Champs and Birmingham Games will be held at the NIA, and three Open events are also announced.

    The official date of Halloween 2009 additionally marks a special occasion for the glorious Berry Hill Park in Mansfield as this year, the Nottinghamshire venue will be celebrating not so much ‘trick’ but more ‘treat’, as they reach their  20-year milestone of hosting the annual Saucony English Cross-Country Relays.

  • 20.Oct.09 Bath Half Marathon needs Run in England group leaders

    Organisers of the 2010 Bath Half Marathon have launched a special training course, in association with the England Athletics ‘Run in England’ scheme, so that athletes can learn the best ways to pass on their knowledge and tips to many others who are perhaps a little apprehensive about how to prepare for their first ever event.

    20.Oct.09 Cross country competition opportunities

    It is the policy of the English Cross Country Association, backed by England Athletics, to send teams to International Cross Country events to help athletes to develop and gain experience of travelling and competing against good quality athletes from other Countries. The ECCA and England Athletics are pleased to announce this winter's fixtures.

    20.Oct.09 England Athletics Club of the Year win Road Relays

    England Athletics Club of the Year Newham and Essex Beagles continued on their run of success at the weekend by winning the Nike National AAA Men's 6 Stage Road Relays Championships at Sutton Park, and beating the standing course record too.

  • 14.Oct.09 Bronze and silver for England at prestigious international marathon

    The final race of England Athletics' international marathon programme took place at the weekend in Austria.  Overall 22 countries took part in the Kaisermarathon with great success for England runners.
