The Lea Valley Athletics Network is sponsoring a series of High Jump Training Days to be held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre, with sessions ideal for coaches new to the event. Coaches are encouraged to attend with their athletes or simply for their own development.

10 coaches from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire recently attended a Sprints workshop led by National Coach Mentor, Tony Hadley in King’s Lynn.

Chelmsford Sport and Athletic Centre was the venue for the first Local Coach Development Programme workshops held in Essex for winter season. Two sessions were held on the day looking at Sprints and Long Jump.

11.Oct.11 Youth Development workshop an excellent evening
24 coaches recently attended a Youth Development workshop in Ipswich. The session was organised by the Suffolk Essex Athletics Network and the coaches came from clubs across Suffolk and North Essex.

Saturday 24th September saw a ‘Come and Throw it’ day organised by the Herts County Network. The event was the second in a series of Coach, Athlete and Official development events.
