Volunteers and guests braved the cold on Tuesday night to attend the event at the Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City. Chris Jones, Head of Strategy and Marketing, and Bob Thompson, Chair of the East Regional Council made the presentations.

Coaches from across Norfolk and Suffolk recently gathered in Ipswich for a Question and Answer evening with Helen Decker and her coach, Clive Sparkes. The evening was presented by Area Coach Mentor, Steve Benson with special guest and England Athletics National Coach Mentor, Bud Baldaro also present.

05.Nov.10 Coaches develop Conditioning knowledge at Core Cambridge
15 coaches from across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex gathered at Core Cambridge last Sunday to develop their knowledge of Biomechanics and Conditioning.

19.Oct.10 Winter programme kicks off in Bedfordshire
Last Friday ten coaches from clubs within the McCain Bedfordshire Athletics Network attended a session at Bedford International Athletic Stadium aimed at helping them deliver conditioning sessions for junior athletes introducing lifting techniques.
