21.Sep.10 Disability Workshop a great success
Lea Valley McCain Athletics Network held its first Disability Workshop this week, which was a great success. The event was attended by a broad spread of interested coaches, team managers and officials hailing from all 4 member clubs and also a LVAC volunteer, who all wanted to find out more about disability athletics.

19.Sep.10 300m and 400m Hurdles Training Days
Winter training sessions will be held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre for all one-lap hurdlers under the guidance of Lloyd Cowan, Brian Hopkins and various guest coaches. Athletes of all standards and from any region are welcome to attend.

This winter a series of throws workshops will be taking place, led by some of the top throws coaches in the country, including Malcolm Fenton, National Coach Mentor; plus Gary Howe (Discus), Rob Earle (Hammer) and Leroy Alison (Shot) who are all part of the National Coach Development Programme.
