26.Oct.10 Essex Athletics Network up and running.

After months of planning, discussions and a successful bid for funding to England Athletics, the Essex Athletics Network was officially launched on Saturday. The new Network, one of over 50 nationwide brings together seven Essex athletics clubs and external partners Chelmsford Borough Council and sportessex.
19.Oct.10 Winter programme kicks off in Bedfordshire

Last Friday ten coaches from clubs within the McCain Bedfordshire Athletics Network attended a session at Bedford International Athletic Stadium aimed at helping them deliver conditioning sessions for junior athletes introducing lifting techniques.
15.Oct.10 East Region Volunteer Awards announced.

The 2010 England Athletics National Awards programme will see many volunteers from across the country recognised for their contributions in supporting the development of the sport. East Region are now pleased to announce their winners.
14.Oct.10 Lea Valley Network set up Race Walking Training Days

A number of winter training sessions for new and experienced race walkers will be held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre over the winter.
