14.Jul.10 Andover AC adopts club mascot
Hot on the heels of Berlino at the World Championships last summer, comes George the beaver, the popular mascot at Andover Athletic Club. George has been out and about this summer, popularising the club in the local community and keeping young athletes amused at the Wessex Young Athletes League hosted by the club last weekend.

As part of the England Athletics Local Coach Development Programme, a workshop "Managing the Competition Season" with Nick Anderson is to be held in Middlesex.

01.Jun.10 Eastleigh Running Club have lift off!
Eastleigh Running Club is thriving, and according to their club website, their training venues would include the moon, if only they could get there! The club has recently benefitted from a move from their previous base at a local school to Fleming Park Leisure Centre.

26.May.10 Learn how to run faster and smarter this summer
A number of training sessions to take your road running to the next level have been organised for those in the Kent/ South East London area. Presenter Janice Moorekite is a Level 4 endurance coach and her sessions will focus on training ideas for senior club athletes.

12.May.10 More Bucks Athletics Network ready to launch
Marshall Milton Keynes AC are hosting an Open meeting on 6th June at the Milton Keynes stadium. The Open meeting which incorporates the U11 Buckinghamshire County QuadKids championships will form part of the Official launch of the More Bucks McCain Athletics Network.
