The athletes are turning up the heat for the England Senior and Parallel Success Championships! The event, to be held in Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on the 2nd and 3rd June, looks set to be an event not to be missed as the competition hots up in 2012!

22.May.12 Loughborough an opportunity for athletes and coaches
The Loughborough International was a great opportunity for our top English athletes to compete against each other - great performances, especially in the throws ensured England again took top spot. The coach mentoring programme was also an important aspect of this event.

16.May.12 England ready to defend title at Loughborough International
This year the Loughborough International takes place on Sunday 20th May and we'll see a great line up of athletes competing, but also a number of coaches taking an opportunity to develop as team staff members and operate at a major championship.

15.May.12 Sussex Athletics Network implementing Athletics 365 programme
Since the 2010 pilot a number of athletics clubs in teh Sussex Atheltics Network have implemented the Athletics 365 programme to complement their weekly club coaching sessions. For several of these clubs Athletics 365 now provides the building blocks of introductory athletics coaching for young athletes.

14.May.12 NYAN Throws Mentoring a great help
After the North Yorkshire Athletics Network launched its three mentors, clubs have been requesting club visits by the mentors to support them in bridging the gap in certain disciplines within their clubs.

John Mansook joined Connie Henry’s Track Academy in October 2011 as a result of enquiring about volunteering through England Athletics’ website and contacting Run! Activator, Andre Fernandez.
