24.Nov.09 Hampshire and Isle of Wight McCain Athletics Network launch

Over 80 local athletes battled wind and rain to train at the launch of the new Hampshire & Isle of Wight McCain Athletics Network. Coaches and top performing U15 and U17 track and field athletes from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight came together to take part in a County Coaching Day.

Oxford’s Hannah England is Oxfordshire’s Sportswoman of the Year, sponsored by Fusion- Lifestyle. She was joined by Witney Road Runner Eleanor Hubbert who won Disabled Sportsperson of the Year. They took top honours on Friday 13th November 2009 at the Oxfordshire Sports Awards.
12.Nov.09 Club Network launch and coaching day attracts local rising stars

Over 80 rising stars of Athletics (U15 & U17 year olds), from all over Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will come together on Saturday 14 November to take part in a County coaching day and be coached by the County’s top 10 coaches.
