    The North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network (NOTAN) are holding a forum for coaches in the North of Tyne area including talks on The Performance Clinic, the NOTAN network, the Tony Blair Sports Foundation, and England Athletics.

    Claremont Runners (part of the NOTAN Athletics Network) recently launched their Huffers and Puffers Running group.

    The North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network (NOTAN) is running an Athletics 365 training event on 27th June in Newcastle.  Athletics 365 is a multi-event, young people development programme, which introduces athletes to the fundamental skills of athletics.NOTAN to hold 365 workshop

    25.May.11 Junior Summer Grand Prix

    Over the summer the North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network (NOTAN) are holding four Junior Athletics competitions to form a Junior Summer Grand Prix, where over each day girls and boys ages 7-13 years will compete over the four elements; individual sprint (60m - 100m), jumps (long, triple, high) throws (javelin, discus, shot) and runs (600m - 800m).

    20.May.11 NOTAN take athletics coaching into schools

    During the final term of the school year, coaches from NOTAN will be going into five local primary schools in the Norham area to introduce a series of athletics coaching sessions with Key Stage 2 children, along with some Key Stage 3 children at Norham Community Technology College.

    The North of Tyne Athletics Network (NOTAN) are pleased to announce a new structure within their network, with the appointment of not only a new network co-ordinator; Victoria Spence, but also a volunteer co-ordinator; Alasdair Wilson and a coach co-ordinator; John Renney.
