Along with many other Athletics Networks, Clubs and organisations, to celebrate 100 Days To Go, NOTAN (North of Tyne Athletics Network) are holding a Try Athletics day.

The 2012 NOTAN QuadKids Grand Prix series kicks off in April following a successful run of events for young athletes last year. The six dates will take place from April through to September for an exciting competition series.

Two free Local Coach Development Programme regional workshops are taking place in the North East this Saturday and there are a few places remaining. "High Jump - a practical and theoretical approach" (Graham Ravenscroft), and "Recovery and Regeneration" (Penny Macutkiewicz and Paula Hynd).
