The North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network (NOTAN) celebrated the New Year, and its first birthday on 4th January 2011, by appointing Joe Frost as its new Network Co-ordinator.

As the VAT increases the price of living, coaches in the North East can attend the Regional LCDP Event next weekend ABSOLUTELY FREE! Sprint expert is Olympian and UKA Development Coach for Speed, Jared Deacon, and he is joined by former Regional Lead Coach Dorothy Chipchase (throws), and NCDP mentee John Stacey (jumps).

While many were searching for the latest toys and gifts for the younger members of the family in the run up to Christmas, over 20 coaches from 8 different clubs in the North East were receiving the gift of an Athletics 365 Coach Pack during 2 evening workshops.
