    Following a highly successful introductory athletics camp John Renney has been asked to return to Rockcliffe School, Whitley Bay to encourage more young children to develop their multi-skills through the innovative sessions that he has created for the school.

    The North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network (NOTAN) celebrated the New Year, and its first birthday on 4th January 2011, by appointing Joe Frost as its new Network Co-ordinator.

    The North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network is taking its first few steps in creating new opportunities to participate in athletics for youngsters in the region by hosting its first ever half-term athletics camp in the new leisure facilities at Forest Hall, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

    While many were searching for the latest toys and gifts for the younger members of the family in the run up to Christmas, over 20 coaches from 8 different clubs in the North East were receiving the gift of an Athletics 365 Coach Pack during 2 evening workshops.
