As a part of raising clubs' standards and demonstrating best practice, Manchester’s Athletics Clubs requested minimum standard for deployment courses to ensure they are providing all athletes with a safe, consistent and positive environment to train, compete and grow in.

Playground to Podium County Athlete Assessment Days (CAAD) are proving hugely successful; for example in the North of England a number of potential athletics stars have been identified and encouraged to take their talents further.

The North West Region are holding two half day workshops near Keswick for anyone interested in endurance running, either as a coach, athlete, parent or interested party. They will cover Injury Prevention, Speed, Agility, Quickness, a Core session, and Race Psychology.
