    The Hertfordshire Athletic Leaders' Academy has had a busy Summer which has paid dividentds for local young coaches and leaders; members of the Academy had a chance to learn about meeting management, organise an U13 event, and find out more about fundraising grants and sponsorship.

    England Athletics are pleased to announce the East Regional winners of the England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2012.  The winners will be presented with their awards at a special evening in December.

    21.Aug.12 Benfleet encouraging budding athletes of the future

    Following the inspirational last two weeks of Games, around 50 children attended the Benfleet Running Club hosted Aviva Startrack event. The children - some new to track and field events - competed in runs, throws and jumps and club members were invited to “bring a friend” in the hope of encouraging budding athletes of the future.
