20.May.10 Focus on Fundamentals
Sphinx AC played host to a Flying Coach visit, delivered by Ruddy Farquharson, Strength and Conditioning coach at the EIS, on Tuesday 4th May. The session brought together 9 coaches who are working with junior athletes from 3 Warwickshire clubs and focussed on the fundamentals of movements.

17.May.10 Entrants sought for the UK Wheelchair Challenge 2010
On Sunday 19th September 2010 the UK will host the very first UK Wheelchair Challenge: a charity event exclusively for wheelchair users over distances of 1km or 3km. The event promises to be an ambitious, fun and welcome addition to the disabled sporting calendar and all entrants will be encouraged to raise money for their favourite disabled charity by getting themselves sponsored to take part.
