Chairman Chris Blow received his club’s Clubmark certificate on a glorious Sunday afternoon in September, in the midst of the club championships. Christine Benning, England Athletics Club and Coach Support Officer, made the Clubmark presentation.

Three workshops covering the broad themes of ‘Planning’, ‘Running form and biomechanics’ and ‘Transitioning training from winter to summer’ will be delivered through the winter nationwide. These three workshops will be taking place in the North East.

13.Sep.10 Y&H Local Coach Development Programme
The first Local Coach Development Programme session of the winter will take place on 26th September in Leeds, covering Speed-Throws-Jumps. This first session is one of four; the others concentrating on Nutrition, Psychology, and Event Specific Workshops for all disciplines.
