25.Jun.10 SW Athletes serve up baker's dozen of Midland titles

Athletes from the South West made their presence felt by winning thirteen titles at the Midland Senior and Under 20 Championships held at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire recently held a series of workshops delivered by Dave Rowland (NCM Physical Preperation) and Tim Snowdon (Avon Network Coordinator). The workshops looked at Physical Preparation, and Working With Young Athletes.
17.Jun.10 Somerset Network officially launched

Somerset McCain Athletics Network held its official launch on to coincide with the county Championship at Yeovil track. The network is supported by all track and field clubs and has a very strong road running representation. Funding comes not just from England Athletics but partners in the County Sport Partnership and local council, and clubs also contribute to make the project longer term and invest in their own future.
04.Jun.10 Armada Network host Athletics on the Prom

The Armada McCain Athletics Network held a brand new event last Saturday in conjunction with the Plymouth Half Marathon’s Festival of Athletics on Plymouth Hoe Promenade. The magnificent backdrop of the Hoe foreshore was a perfect venue for a series of athletic events designed for young people from 8 to 16 years old.
