06.Dec.09 South West Cross-Country Championships
The South West Cross-Country Championships will take place at Bicton College, Exmouth, Devon on Sunday 10th January 2010. This event draws runners from across the South West, and incorporates an inter-county event as well as club team championships. Closing date for entries is 18th December.

09.Nov.09 First Regional Endurance and Middle Distance training day to be held
The first of a series of England Athletics Regional Training Days will take place on Sunday 15th November at Ashton Court Estate in Bristol, starting at 11am.

23.Oct.09 SW host a series of Coaching Endurance workshops
A series of Coaching Endurance workshops have been organised for Level 2 and above coaches to come together and discuss specific coaching issues and coaching methods. The sessions will be led by Level 3 endurance coach and tutor Peggy Wiseman and senior coach education tutor Viv Matthews.

21.Sep.09 East Cornwall Harriers awarded Clubmark
East Cornwall Harriers were recently awarded their Clubmark status. It was presented by Regional Council member Keith Reed.

16.Sep.09 Dartmoor Vale 2009 - marathon, half marathon and 10k
The Dartmoor Vale 2009 is being organised by the Women's Running Network and the Rotary Club of Dartmoor Vale. There will be a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 1 mile fun run. The event will also play host to the South West Road Running Championships comprising County Teams from Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
