Prospective Olympic Games field official Audrey Lewis lost her battle with cancer last Tuesday with just 100 Days To Go until the Games. Audrey was just 47 and her loss was felt throughout not only the officiating community but also by her athletes and colleagues at the World Masters Association, and within Berkshire where she lived.

20.Apr.12 England Athletics Hall of Famer to start Virgin London Marathon
This Sunday’s Virgin London Marathon is to be started by Dorothy Tyler, the pioneering English athlete who was inducted into England Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. Good luck to all of those who will be there!

05.Apr.12 82-year-old timekeeper crosses Olympic stadium finishing line
82-year-old timekeeper and athletics stalwart Jack Walters was lucky enough to win a trip to the Olympic stadium with his son and grandson last weekend. Jack was one of 5000 people who ran in the National Lottery Olympic 5 mile run, the first public event to be held at the brand new Olympic stadium.
