Saturday 8th May saw the Cumbria County Athletics Championships held at the Sheep Mont Stadium in Carlisle. More than 175 athletes of all ages and from across Cumbria took part over a range of events.

Now in its 5th year, the Children’s Great West Run Challenge is a running programme for primary age children designed to get them regularly running for fun and fitness. The event has grown every year; this year 25 schools and 726 children took part.
