Sphinx AC played host to a Flying Coach visit, delivered by Ruddy Farquharson, Strength and Conditioning coach at the EIS, on Tuesday 4th May. The session brought together 9 coaches who are working with junior athletes from 3 Warwickshire clubs and focussed on the fundamentals of movements.

England Athletics are looking for coaches to help support the Yorkshire and Humberside Local Coach Development Programme. All coaches wishing to support the local coach development programme across Y&H must attend a 1.5 hour session, details as provided.

UKA and England Athletics are currently in the process of planning the Young Leaders' Camp 2010. The camp, which is now in its third year, is a chance for young leaders and volunteers to come together in a residential setting, and develop their skills through a range of practical and theoretical sessions.

Marshall Milton Keynes AC are hosting an Open meeting on 6th June at the Milton Keynes stadium. The Open meeting which incorporates the U11 Buckinghamshire County QuadKids championships will form part of the Official launch of the More Bucks McCain Athletics Network.
