Northwood Academy of Hurdles is preparing for its winter programme. The Academy has been working with young hurdlers to develop their hurdling techniques indoors at Northwood Stadium, Stoke, and is proud of its record in producing some of the finest national winning hurdlers over the 15 years of its existence.

Halesowen Athletics and Cycling Club were celebrating recently when they heard they had won the England Athletics West Midlands regional awards for junior club of the year, club partnership of the year and that one of their members - Maurice Endacott - had won the services to volunteering award.
