25.Nov.09 Lincolnshire Throws Academy a real success!

The Lincolnshire throws academy is an opportunity to get club coaches to work and observe the specialist coaches - who include Geoff Capes, Jim Edwards and Mike Allen - giving them the knowledge and confidence to deliver coaching at their own clubs. 38 athletes and 20 coaches attend the monthly sessions organised by the Lincolnshire Athletics Network who have teamed up with the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership.
22.Oct.09 Networks join forces to launch Coach Development Sessions

Nottinghamshire Athletics Network and Derbyshire Athletics Networks joined forces last weekend to launch the first of ten Coach Development Sessions. Some of the best coaches in the country have been recruited to support the coaches at the 12 Network clubs and help them develop their skills.

Club & Coach Support Officer Steve Lloyd has been busy organising free nutrition workshops across the East Midlands as part of the Local Coach Development Program being supported by England Athletics in the area.
