A booklet entitled "The case for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland" has been produced by Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport, in partnership with District and City Councils and the NHS. It showcases the work done by Wreake Runners and Run in England in the region.

06.Oct.10 First Derbyshire Network Training Day overwhelming success!
On Sunday 3rd October the Derbyshire Athletics Network held their first of three Coach and Athlete Training Days. The day was an huge success with almost 40 coaches and over 50 athletes attending from all across the Derbyshire Network.

04.Oct.10 Charnwood and Notts Accomplish Midland Relay Double
The East Midlands had double cause for celebration when Sutton Park once again was the venue for the Midland Road Relay Championships in autumnal sunshine last Saturday. Charnwood AC led on all but one stage to record their sixth consecutive Women’s Four Stage title win by a margin of 32 seconds from Bristol and West AC with Coventry Godiva Harriers in third place.
