Last year Chelmsford AC had an astounding 18 athletes competed in the English Schools' Athletics Championships, a feat they believed could never be repeated. One year on thay have broken that amazing record. A total of 20 Chelmsford athletes competed at the English Schools' athletics championships.

Weeks of careful planning came to fruition with two noisy and enjoyable QuadKids competitions for Havering Primary Schools held at Hornchurch Stadium. The Havering School Sports Association were trialling QuadKids as a sustainable competition format for the future.
