Young people from both Lambeth and Lewisham have been invited to make up the Production team on a very special, very unique film tracking the lives of disabled and non-disabled athletes in the Capital. With the Olympics on the horizon the film will give an insight into what training to be a high performance athlete really means to young people both disabled and non-disabled.

19.Jan.12 London Athletics Network Clubs sign up to host Try Athletics Days, are your club joining in?
Clubs from the London Athletics Networks are signing up to host Try Athletics Days to mark 100 days to go until the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
18th April 2012 will mark 100 days to go and England Athletics is inviting all clubs to host an event anytime during this week to mark the occasion. Blackheath and Bromley Harriers are among the clubs to have signed -

As we are now into the all-action year of 2012 Track Academy and the Run! Project have decided to hit the ground running (pun intended).
So You Think You can...Run! is an upcoming event we are hosting at Willesden Sports Centre on Saturday January 21st, from 12.30-2pm. -
18.Jan.12 Sprint Hurdles Training For Young Athletes
The Lea Valley Athletics Network is sponsoring two training sessions for aspiring sprint hurdlers in the U13 and U15 age groups. Athletes of all standards and from any region are welcome to attend. There is no charge to coaches who are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Price to Athletes - £5 per session (£2.40 if you belong to a club in the Lea Valley Athletics Network. -

15.Jan.12 The World’s fastest sprinters meet Newham Athletics Network Athletes
It’s January - the year that London hosts the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the buzz of the Olympics are high on Newham Athletics Networks agenda. On the 11th Jan 2012 Run! Activator Coral Nourrice took a team of 20 lucky Newham Athletics Network athletes to John Lewis Stratford to meet Olympic athletes Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake, Veronica Campbell-Brown and David Rudisha at the London2012 store signing and Q&A session.
