It was 1-2-3 for England in the 110m hurdles as Andy Turner led a medal charge on what was dubbed 'Final's Friday'. More medals were won in the field and our multi-events gave an epic display in the decathlon.

08.Oct.10 Friday Morning athletics action
We've had a number of qualifiers in Delhi this morning. In the men's long jump both Chris Tomlinson and Greg Rutherford are through to the final. All three athetes including Andy Turner are through the 110 Hurdles qualifiers and all three also through the 800m. The decathlon continues with a possible medal chance.

07.Oct.10 Medals keep coming in Delhi! AMENDED
The Commonwealth Games England Athletics team have won more medals in this afternoon's action. The evening session saw high drama in the 100m events as well as in the field and the decathletes continued their efforts.

06.Oct.10 First day of athletics sees great start to the action!
The first day of athletics in Delhi saw an exciting beginning to the competition. Two finals were contested today – the men’s 5000m, and the F32-34/52/53 women’s Shot Put. There were also a number of important qualifiers for the sprinters and heavy throws, with nearly all our athletes getting through the qualification rounds successfully.
