18.Dec.12 Hackney Hurricanes shine at Nationwide Disability Sports Awards
Over 300 guests attended the Nationwide Disability Sports Awards on Thursday 6 December to celebrate a year of sport for disabled people. Held at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, the evening recognised the achievements of disabled young athletes and rising stars, as well as inclusive sports clubs.

The Run! project has achieved its Mayors Legacy funding participation objectives six months ahead of target, with the activators motivating over 100,000 people to take part in athletics.
