UKA in consultation with England Athletics, other home country representatives, UK Members Council and other key partners have carried out a review of coach education in the UK. We are now able to supply more details on what will be happening and when as we work together to produce a better future for the Athletics in this country.

18.Jan.10 Coach and athlete xc training session in Norwich
A coach and athlete get together and session is being hosted by City Of Norwich AC this Saturday 23rd January. There will be a hill and lap session, followed by an informal chat in the Park Cafe afterwards.

15.Jan.10 Talk on training approaches and insights into sports psychology
The University of Birmingham are hosting a talk by Charlie Spedding and Lindsay Dunn on training approaches and insights into sports psychology regarding running. The talk will take place on 27th January from 3 - 5pm.

14.Jan.10 Cross country selections announced
Selections are now announced online for the England Senior Team for Green Mount College, Antrim (Saturday 23rd January) and Senior and Under 20 Men and Women for the event in Elgoibar, Spain on Sunday 24 January.

04.Jan.10 Official England ultra distance selection trial
The Anglo Celtic Plate 100km Home International Team Race will be held on 19th June 2010. The official England selection trial will be held in Gloucestershire on 21st March. Athletes who wish to be considered for selection should forward details to Norman Wilson.

04.Jan.10 Distance running stalwart Ken Moss dies aged 58
Kenneth Moss died over the christmas period at his home in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire at the age of 58.
