    The athletes are turning up the heat for the England Senior and Parallel Success Championships! The event, to be held in Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on the 2nd and 3rd June, looks set to be an event not to be missed as the competition hots up in 2012!

    The Loughborough International was a great opportunity for our top English athletes to compete against each other - great performances, especially in the throws ensured England again took top spot.  The coach mentoring programme was also an important aspect of this event.

    This year the Loughborough International takes place on Sunday 20th May and we'll see a great line up of athletes competing, but also a number of coaches taking an opportunity to develop as team staff members and operate at a major championship.

    Since the 2010 pilot a number of athletics clubs in teh Sussex Atheltics Network have implemented the Athletics 365 programme to complement their weekly club coaching sessions. For several of these clubs Athletics 365 now provides the building blocks of introductory athletics coaching for young athletes.
