26.Oct.10 Road Runners - planning to progress?
A road running workshop with two top coaches is to be held ia the Julie Rose stadium in Ashford shortly. The workshop is entitled "Planning to progress to the next level", is free of charge and available to all coaches, running group leaders and interested athletes.

26.Oct.10 40 coaches at first Speed, Jumps and Throws workshop
The first Y&H Speed, Jumps and Throws Coach Development Day took place on Sunday 24th October at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield attracting 40 coaches. The majority of the coaches involved were Level 2, with some Level 3 coaches.

25.Oct.10 NW javelin coaches have a ball
The North West played host to the first of the winter's javelin LCDP coach development programme. The day saw 16 coaches and 10 athletes attend the medicine ball and gym ball session that was led by Shelley Holroyd and Bob Welfare, who are both mentees on the National Coach Development Programme.

Saturday 30 October will see some of the biggest names in athletics and the efforts of those volunteers, upon whose work our sport is built, honoured together at the England Athletics Awards Night including the Hall of Fame and National Volunteer Awards ceremonies. Members of the Commonwealth Games England Athletics team will also be present.

22.Oct.10 High Jump session helps LCDP programme take off
England Athletics held its first joint NCDP and LCDP High Jump coach development session at the Solihull High Jump groups training camp, which was led by National Coach Mentors for the high jump, Graham Ravenscroft and Denis Doyle.
