18.Nov.10 Sweatshop's "Track Club" pledge to support young athletes
England Athletics are delighted to inform you of an initiative our sponsors Sweatshop have developed to support our future senior champions, prioritising the 17-20 age bracket. Sweatshop will provide athletes with team kit, running shoes and spikes to the approximate value of £500 per year.

Each London Borough, Region and Home Country has a Team Manager who is responsible for selecting a team to take part in the Virgin Mini London Marathon. The East Region Team Manager for 2011 is Chris Harbord.

England Athletics are holding a series of three workshops in the South West aimed at coaches and their athletes to look specifically at strategies for positive focus and using various methods to help when at competitions.

All McCain Athletics Networks and Clubs in England were invited to attend their annual conference - this year 3 were held - one in each of the tri regions. You can now download presentations from the workshops and view video footage from the Solihull conference.

One of the Leicestershire Vision 2020 Network main objectives is to get more children into clubs within the Network and to succeed with this aim it is seen as a priority to grow strong links with local schools in each area that the Network covers.
