Following John Pares' victory in the Commonwealth 24 Hour Championship in North Wales last year, he showed what a top world class performer he is. In the women's race a nail biting finish gets England's Karen Hathaway a podium place and fulfils selection criteria for the World champs.

14.May.12 A great day for the first of the NOTAN QuadKids
On the 28th April NOTAN held its first QuadKids Athletics event at Churchill playing fields. A total of 37 athletes signed up to take part in a great competition.

14.May.12 Eastern Athletic Association Track and Field Championships
With the various County Championships having taken place in the sunshine over the weekend, the next major championships in the Eastern Region are the Eastern Athletic Association Track and Field Championships.

14.May.12 Newham grant allows for free disability event
After applying and gaining a ‘Let’s Get the Party Started’ Grant from Newham Council it was possible to set up a free Access Event in partnership with AccessSport with just 87 Days to go before the London 2012 Olympics.
