Over the past two years the Armada McCain Athletics Network have been working with local schools, Active Devon, Plymouth City Council Sports Development and England Athletics to offer both talent identification and coaching to disabled athletes in the Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Just three weeks after being identified at the Nottingham Playground to Podium CAAD, Lakaysha Mills (13) attended the Nationwide DSE National Junior Championships, and ompeting against much older athletes, Lakaysha won all three of her events and even scored higher than the boys!
