    With one year to go until the Paralympics Games (and 333 until Olympic Games), England Athletics are challenging all clubs  if they are 'ready' through the role out of the ‘Are you ready?’ volunteer recruitment campaign.

    For a few, being ‘ready for 2012’ will mean competing against the very best athletes in the world in the teams of Olympians and Paralympians at the London Games.  But for everyone involved in athletics, 2012 is a year we must be ready for.

    Tonight is your last chance to nominate an unsung hero, whether it be a club volunteer, official, or coach (or all three!), or someone who has given outstanding services to athletics generally, disability athletics, officiating or coaching.

    England Athletics are working with EduCare who provide online resources written by the NSPCC.  There are three main programmes, all of which you can buy online from the EduCare website. We have details of each programme at www.englandathletics.org/EduCare.
