North West England technical officials Tony Reilly and David Brown were recently presented with their England Athletics regional awards for Official of the Year and Services to Officiating.

06.Jan.10 Officials Sports London offer funding to prospective officials
Official Sports London is an exciting bursary opportunity funded by the London Development Agency and Sport England. The Official Sports London bursary supports Londoners aged 16+ to achieve recognised officiating qualifications and volunteer or work as officials in their favourite sport.

05.Jan.10 Top athletics officials honoured by Queen
Top athletics officials Chris Cohen and David Littlewood have been honoured in the New Year's Honours List. Chris receives a CBE and David an MBE, both for their services to athletics. This follows the news that Jean Pickering has received the MBE for her outstanding work for the sport through the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund.

The great and the good of England Athletics London Region were gathered at the Civil Service Sports Club in the heart of the town for the 2009 presentation of awards to the unsung voluntary heroes who ensure that the sport operates at the highest of levels for performances, officiating and administration.
