10.Oct.10 Baptiste takes gold for England!
England’s Leon Baptiste came of age with a Commonwealth Games gold medal in the men’s 200m. And the Sunday’s action saw England go to the top of the athletics leaderboard with 17 medals to Australia’s 12.

10.Oct.10 Looking forward to Sunday in Delhi
No early starts for our athletes or spectators today. The track and field kicks off with two important medal ceremonies; Greg Rutherford will receive his silver long jump medal following his best of season leap of 8.22m, and English heptathletes Louise Hazel and Grace Clements mount the podium to receive gold and bronze respectively.

Louise Hazel won her first major international title as England took two fantastic medals in the hepathlon along with a silver in the long jump thanks to Greg Rutherford, in an entertaining evening's athletics in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Following a new personal best of 6m44, English Heptathlete Louise Hazel is now leading the group overall, with just the javelin and 800m to go later today. We've also had some good qualifying events and look forward to more action and a Race Walk medal presentation later.
