East Cornwall Harriers are forging ahead with their links to the primary schools in the local area. They have organised a massive series of cross country events on a monthly basis in which 27 primary schools take part.

With the Cross Country Season moving towards the main Championships there are plenty of athletes contesting events to get themselves to a peak for the rest of the Season and the following Athletes have been selected by England to contest the Belgium Cross Country Cup.

The London and Eastern Region endurance coach development programme continued with a well received event at Barnet Copthall. The theme was ‘Transition from Winter to Summer’ and the day reflected the diversity of the endurance coaches on the area and local mentoring programmes.

North Yorkshire Schools, part of the North Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network held their Cross Country Championships at Catterick, and enjoyed very good conditions with the course having recovered well from the snow and rain of previous weeks / months!
