14.May.12 Newham grant allows for free disability event

After applying and gaining a ‘Let’s Get the Party Started’ Grant from Newham Council it was possible to set up a free Access Event in partnership with AccessSport with just 87 Days to go before the London 2012 Olympics.
13.May.12 S Factor shine at Highgate Harriers Quadkids

S Factor and their talented athletes from Lewisham made their debut last weekend at their first Quadkids event. Professionally turned out in matching kits with the biggest tent of the day – the young boys and girls pushed themselves to reach some fantastic times and distances.

Organised and hosted by Highgate Harriers and marketed by the North London Athletics Network. The event was also supported by the LICC, Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers and London Heathside.
13.May.12 ‘Are You Ready’ Volunteer joins Track Academy

John Mansook joined Connie Henry’s Track Academy in October 2011 as a result of enquiring about volunteering through England Athletics’ website and contacting Run! Activator, Andre Fernandez.
10.May.12 West London Athletics Network Schools Meeting

Thames Valley Harriers hosted the second annual West London Athletics Network schools meeting at the Linford Christie Stadium on 2nd May 2012. Despite the unseasonal wintery weather conditions, the meeting attracted a large number from ten local schools.
