Last weekend saw Tavistock Community College host a pod coaching session in conjunction with Armada Network for Jumps, Speed and Endurance. National Coach Development Programme Coaches Rob Linskill (jumps) Viv Matthews (endurance) and Alan Denyer (speed) delivered a group coaching session to over 30 local coaches.

Last weekend saw England Athletics host a residential training weekend for LCDP Tier 1 coaches. The event was also attended by endurance ACM mentees and NCDP endurance mentees.

Physical Preparation and Sports Nutrition workshops have helped the Duchy Athletics Network (DAN) to prepare for the 2013 season and its revamped 5k Series.

The England Athletics South West Club & County Cross Country Championships 2013 will be held on Sunday 6th January at Bicton Park, East Devon, Exmouth. This year the competition is being managed by South West Athletics Academy.

England Athletics are pleased to announce the South West Regional winners of the England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2012. The winners will be presented with their awards at a special evening on Wednesday 5th December.
