21.Aug.12 Benfleet encouraging budding athletes of the future
Following the inspirational last two weeks of Games, around 50 children attended the Benfleet Running Club hosted Aviva Startrack event. The children - some new to track and field events - competed in runs, throws and jumps and club members were invited to “bring a friend” in the hope of encouraging budding athletes of the future.

Colchester & Tendring AC celebrated the recent Olympic Games by gaining their Accredited Club status. The club based at the Colchester Garson Athletics Stadium, completed the accreditation to a high standard.
