Greater Peterborough Athletics Network have arranged a series of coaching workshops for coaches and athletes in the area as part of their drive to get all coaches the information they need to support and develop their athletes.

The Armada Athletics Network ran a “Question of Sport” type evening with the subject being the rules of the sport. Unfortunately Sue Barker couldn’t make it so the quizmasters were Keith Reed and Paul Ross who are both National officials.
28.Jan.12 Nutrition Workshop opens people’s eyes

Martin MacDonald, consultant nutritionist who has worked with elite athletes across a number of sports delivered a 2 hour workshop to a group of coaches on the Local Coach Development Programme and their athletes.

The UKA Executive Board has approved the following Rule amendments for 2012-2014 following 6 months of considering submissions from interested parties.
