31.Jan.12 Celtic Cup victory in Cardiff

The England team travelled to Wales for the Celtic Cup U20 International with high hopes of defending the title that they have held for the last 4 years. On paper the team looked very strong, with 3 members of the Commonwealth Youth Games team as well as one from last year’s team.

The Armada Athletics Network ran a “Question of Sport” type evening with the subject being the rules of the sport. Unfortunately Sue Barker couldn’t make it so the quizmasters were Keith Reed and Paul Ross who are both National officials.

England Athletes faced strong opposition when they travelled to Northern Spain for the Juan Muguerza Cross in Elgoibar.
29.Jan.12 Good luck to our indoor teams on their European 3 stop tour!

England Athletics have selected an England team to compete at 3 indoor track and field events over the next week, in the build up to the UK trials and the World Indoor Championships. We wish them all the best and look forward to hearing all about it upon their return.
