Fifteen coaches from clubs in the Essex McCain Athletics Network gave positive feedback about the value of the second coach education workshop arranged in conjunction with Writtle College on using video analysis to improve sprinting and running performance.

England Athletics is very pleased to announce details of its three major coaching conferences for 2011. Marking “300 days to go” until the start of London 2012, the conferences will aim to inspire coaches at a local level to develop the next generation of Olympic & Paralympic hopefuls.

England Athletics is once again holding three major coaching conferences which cover the whole country - one in each of the north, midlands and south. This year the focus of each is slightly different and is based on input from coaches in each area into what content they would like to see.

The North Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network will be running a Run England workshop on Tuesday 6th September at David Lloyd Gym in York, from 7 to 9pm. The evening will be delivered by Richard Smith, who currently runs numerous groups within York, and tutors on the LIRF & CIRF Courses.
