17.Mar.11 Big Network Day big success for coaches and athletes
32 coaches and athletes attended the first of the South Surrey Athletics Network's coach and athlete development days, called the ‘Big Network Day’. The day consisted of sprints workshops, a motivational talk from an Olympic medallist, plus a chance to question a current GB athlete.

In a follow up to the very successful regional endurance event held in late November, last week over 25 coaches and athletes from the County Durham Athletics Network were treated to a session around physical preparation and conditioning related to endurance athletes by Julie Twaddle.

14.Mar.11 Cheshire network hosting 3 coach and athlete develpment events
Cheshire McCain Athletics Network are running three coach and athlete development events in the North West. Sessions will cover off-road, endurance, discus, hammer, sprints, long jump, pole vault, pilates, conditioning, nutrition and biomechanics.
