    The England Athletics Local Coach Development Programme is part of our national campaign to boost the skills of coaches nationwide. It caters for Level 2 and appropriate Level 3 coaches who want to develop as quickly and effectively as possible by providing them with the best  possible access to support and expertise.

    Club & Coach Support Officer Steve Lloyd has been busy organising free nutrition workshops across the East Midlands as part of the Local Coach Development Program being supported by England Athletics in the area.

    The new LiRF course has only been running for a few months but already it has been a great success.  Participants include elite marathon runners, club members and complete beginners.

This work will focus particularly on supporting and developing a network of effective and resourceful coaches, clubs and volunteers.  We are now seeking a high quality Club & Coach Support Officer for the South Yorkshire and Humberside area  to help us turn the vision into reality.

    25.Aug.09 Quadkids comes to Neighbourhood Games

    Quadkids came to the Tower Hamlets Neighbourhood Games last week.  The Games, organised by Tower Hamlets Schools Sport Partnership, saw the culmination of a summer initiative that saw mini-clubs being set up in primary schools and a variety of sports being coached by Sports Leaders from the partnership.
