15 Actionnaires clubs from the North of England attended an action packed day of athletics at the EIS, Sheffield. This event was open to visually impaired children between the ages 4-16 registered within the 15 clubs.

06.Apr.11 North Yorkshire first ever Girls' National Sportshall Final
The North Yorkshire Under 15 Girls' team won the Yorkshire and Humberside event, and qualified for the National Final at Birmingham NEC - our first ever girls team to qualify, and North Yorkshire have only had one boys' team in 20 years of trying.

Leeds City AC and Rothwell Harriers who are part of the Leeds McCain Athletics Network took a group of 33 athlete and 10 team managers over to Dortmund, Germany to compete in a annual international competition.

04.Feb.11 North Yorkshire field first U11 Sportshall Team - with great success
North Yorkshire entered an Under 11 team in the Yorkshire Sportshall event for the first time. Most athletes came from City of York or Harrogate Harriers, who are part of the North Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network.
