    The second coach education workshop organised by the Essex Athletics Network, in conjunction with the network’s external partners SEEVIC College gave coaches much to food for thought as the Rebecca Cruickshank delivered an expert session on “Nutrition and the competitive athlete”.

    The Lea Valley Athletics Network is sponsoring a series of High Jump Training Days to be held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre, with sessions ideal for coaches new to the event.  Coaches are encouraged to attend with their athletes or simply for their own development.

    This fantastic evening celebrated the clubs, coaches and volunteers that make athletics one of the top sports in the county in terms of participation.  This now annual event was a celebration of the support within the region over the last 12 months and also the success of the award winners.
